Rōz, which translates to every day in the Urdu language, is a female-founded jewelry brand that aspires to be a part of your every day. The capsule collections are curated from regions across the globe consisting of staple pieces that are versatile yet bold, and simultaneously functional. Rōz aspires to bring affordable and unique jewelry that elevates your everyday self with permanent essentials.
Founded by Sumaila Palla, an architect and urban planner, the brand started almost a year ago, with a goal of bringing quality pieces that could be interchangeable with eastern and western wear, a need that was evident to her while growing up as a South Asian in the Bay Area. Rōz brings practical and modern looks that can go from day to night, or work to daawat seamlessly.
Based out of California and New York, Rōz is handcrafted, brass metal, and 21 karat gold plated jewelry that is finished with a lacquer coating to protect each piece. To support local craftsmanship and ensure fair pay, rōz works directly with local vendors. The current collection is sourced from Turkey, and as the brand grows, Sumaila hopes to expand products and look at rōz as a lifestyle brand.
