Imam Fuad Mohamed

Imam Fuad serves as the Resident Scholar for MAS Bay Area, bringing a lifetime of dedication to Islamic knowledge and community service. His journey began under the guidance of his local imam and led him to further his studies at al-Azhar University in Egypt. After returning to the U.S., he served as an imam and lecturer in Seattle, where he also founded learning centers for people of all ages. Imam Fuad holds numerous Ijazahs in Hadith, Fiqh, Quran, and Arabic sciences and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Usul Fiqh & Fiqh at Madinah Islamic International University.

A graduate of the University of Washington with a double major in Community Psychology and Educational Studies, along with a minor in Policy Studies, Imam Fuad brings a well-rounded perspective to his teaching. Originally from Oromia, Ethiopia, he now lives in the Bay Area with his wife and three children. Known for his passion for Islamic history, Imam Fuad teaches across Bay Area masajid and online, sharing his knowledge to inspire and uplift the community.

Advanced Hadith

This class on Umdatul Ahkam offers an in-depth exploration of Hadith science and literature. Compiled by the esteemed scholar Imam Al-Maqdisi, Umdatul Ahkam focuses on authentic narrations from Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.

Tazkiyah 101

This class explores the poetic insights of Imam Al-Ilbeeree, an influential Andalusian scholar. In this course, participants will engage with Al-Ilbeeree's Taiyyah, a poem celebrated for its reflections on life’s transient nature, the pursuit of knowledge, and the virtues of humility and piety.

Islamic Studies Diploma

A structured program, for boys and girls ages 14 and older, designed to provide a deep and comprehensive understanding of core Islamic knowledge with an opportunity to earn ijazahs along with the Diploma.

Transformed by Worship

Through a structured study of core acts of worship—including purification, prayer, zakah, fasting, and Hajj—we will examine how each act empowers holistic development across four key dimensions: soul, character, mind, and body.
